Recap

Wacker Innsbruck says goodbye to professional football with the home game against Dornbirn. A lot of melancholy will blow through the Tivoli Gardens. As I said in my previous analysis against FC Juniors, Horn, and St. Polten huge dark clouds are circulating Wacker Innsbruck. They stayed without a licence for Admiral second division for the coming season due to financial reasons. Coach Michael Oenning have enormous problems to composed a proper line up, after nine players have terminated their contracts, because the club was unable to pay the salaries. These players are Alexander Joppich (27/0), Florian Kopp (26/0), Raphael Galle (20/1), Clemens Hubmann (19/0), Darijo Grujcic (17/0), Alexander Eckmayr (10/0), Robert Martic (10/0), Merchas Doski (6/0), and Fabio Markelic. Their is no longer a classical defender in the squad, and that means that coach Oenning has to continue to be very creative in the last line.

They also have problems with injuries and suspensions, and out of the squad are Marco Knaller (20/0 first goalkeeper), Joao Luiz (20/1), Dennis Grote (13/1), Atsushi Zaizen (10/1), and Fabio Viteritti (7/0). Unexperienced third goalkeeper Markus Gabl will make his starting debut. last squad of FC Wacker Innsbruck would like to retire from professional football with a win and say goodbye to the fans with their heads held high.

Dornbirn rid of all fears of relegation due to the voluntary relegation of the FC Juniors and the non-granting of a playing permit for Wacker Innsbruck. They have been able to play freely for some time. Nevertheless, they are at the bottom of the table with only one win against Rapid II in the last nine games. Coach Stocker also has to do without Domig (19/0), who has been suspended.

Of course, Wacker Innsbruck would like to retire from professional football with a win and say goodbye to the fans with their heads held high. They still have some quality strikers like Brazilian Ronivaldo and Belgium Bertaccini, who can easily score some goals against the worst defense in the league.
