Crvena Zvezda appointed Israeli Barak Bakhar as a new coach and make a super job. He made miracles last season with Maccabi Haifa with his well-known way of exhausting trainings, where he wants a superb physical condition by his players. They add some quality reinforcements like Jean-Philippe Krasso (Saint-Étienne), Milos Degenek (Columbus), Peter Olayinka (Slavia Prague), and some others. They are „exploding“ with self-confidence, because coach Bahar completely changed the mindset of the team, playing an aggressive style with high press on the opponent’s field, which was visible in 8 friendly matches, where they had a 100% record with a goal difference of 27:3. In the Serbian league, they are playing „mouse and cat“ with 4 wins in a row and 16:1 goal difference and are two classes above every team in the league.
Vozdovac has the youngest team in the league with an average age of 21 years. They are still undefeated with 1-3-0 stats (against all relegation candidates Javor, IMT Beograd, Zeleznicar Pancevo, and Radnik). The popular „Dragons“ is the only team in the Serbian Super League that is playing on artificial grass on the roof of the Stadion shopping center in Belgrade, but I doubt that this can help them to avoid a heavy defeat. In their mutual matches, Crvena Zvezda has 15 wins in a row.
