Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that the team is likely to be without at least five players for their match on Tuesday due to injuries, while one player is suspended.
As confirmed by the club, the Soweto giants could be without Itumeleng Khune (11/0), Daniel Akpeyi (14/0), Eric Mathoho (15/2), Lebohang Lesako (3/0), and Khama Billiat (13/0), while defender Daniel Cardoso (25/1) will also miss the clash at the Peter Mokaba Stadium due to suspension.
With centre-back Mathoho injured as he could not finish the Bloemfontein match, the Chiefs’ defence could be at the mercy of the Tshakhuma attack as Daniel Cardoso is out after picking his fourth yellow card.
They are going to visit Tshakhum, and there the players are waiting for a 7-hour bus ride because there is no airport in the vicinity of Tshakhum.
The home team is in a serious battle for every point in order to keep their place in the Premier League and expect to take advantage of these problems and grab at least a point.
