Recap

Real Madrid lives in a state of bittersweet happiness these days. They managed to force the fifth game of the Euroleague quarter finals after chaining two triumphs of merit at the scorching Stark Arena in Belgrade against Partizan. A victorious expedition to Serbia that ended with the injury to Gabriel Deck, who is out, like the suspended Yabusele, for the final match at the WiZink Center. The match against Unicaja on Sunday, was one more in the busy Real Madrid schedule of recent weeks and that will end with the dispute of four games in eight days. If we count the two in Belgrade last week, the figure shoots up to six games in 13 days. Almost one every two days.

Partizán lost both matches in Stark Arena, but the last one was played in maybe the hardest day in modern history of Serbia, where a 13 years old kid killed 8 kids and 2 heavily wounded in a gun shot at primary school. The Euroleague didn’t want to postpone the match, where ultras „Grobari“ didn’t sing in the first half, and all Arena was in deep mourning. Today, after suspension the best player and captain Kevin Punter is back in the team, and we know that he is a key figure in Obradovic tactics. I think that old fox Obradovic will prepare a good tactic especially for Tavares, and will keep a close result.
