Recap
Portugal got a tense victory against Ghana (3:2), where the Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo scored a penalty and is the only footballer who have scored in five World Cups (2006, 2010, 2014, 2018, 2022), reaching 118 goals with the national emblem on his chest. Once again he was in the spotlight, as the penalty he won from the defender Salisu. Uruguay failed to beat South Korea in their group opener and a 0-0 draw was a fair result. When it’s tough, Portugal showed their true face, scoring three goals against Ghana in a short space of time,. which tells us that they are psychologically well prepared. Uruguay looks without energy in the offensive part, and I think that Portugal will have the upper hand in this clash.
