Recap

North Macedonia reached perfection in Armenia with 0:5 wins, where Enis Bardi scored three goals. They took advantage of Romania’s “gel” against Iceland, and have a great chance to secure 2nd place with a win, which will give them a place in the play-offs to qualify for the World Cup finals. They showed a positive face with coach Blagoia Milevski, who has some problems in the offense in the last match but finally found the right tactics and they “explode” in Yerevan. There was also an additional “dope” of psychology from the country’s football federation, where extra bonuses were given to the footballers for their dominance in Armenia, and for a possible win today the players will share a huge amount of money. Iceland makes a miracle in the last match away to Romania, where they make a point. They will be without one of their most experienced players Johann Gudmundson (Burnley) and Viðar Örn Kjartansson, who has withdrawn from the national team. In the first match in Iceland, North Macedonia has an easy game till the 78th minute, where they have a comfortable 0:2 lead, but lost the three points in the final minutes for a 2:2 draw. Captain Stefan Ristovski is back after suspension, which is an additional plus for this match.

The National Arena Todor Proeski is sold out and with loudly crowd behind them, North Macedonian players will leave their hearts on the field and secure the biggest victory in their football history.
