Burnley goes to St. James Park with big problems in the team. Coach Sean Dyche can’t count on midfielder Jack Cork, defenders Matthew Lowton, Ben Mee, striker Jay Rodriguez, and Robbie Brady, while Johann Gudmundsson and Dunne are in questionable. They were all standard first team players last season, and some of them got injured in the first games of this season. They have two consecutive defeats at the start, and obviously, this is a big problem. Also outside of Turf Moor, Burnley plays much weaker than at home. Newcastle of course has its problems as well. Ritchie and Saint Maxime are out, while Yedin Krafth and Lascelles are questionable. However, after the addition of Wilson and Francis this team has a new quality. Also, a good start to the season by stealing points from the Spurs in the late minutes should be a huge morale boost. Overall I think they are slight favorites in this match.
