With the win against Manchester United in the city derby, Manchester City get back on the winning track after a shocking loss from Crystal Palace. They totally dominated against their city rival and with two goals in the first half control the match till the end. Yesterday Chelsea and Liverpool win their matches and they must chase the three points. They have excellent tradition against Everton (8 consecutive wins), and will surely try to score a convincing win in front of then next week’s home match against Paris Saint-Germain, which will largely decide the first place in the Champions League group stage. Everton is in a huge downtrend without a win in the last 5 matches. Away from Goodison Park, they are one of the weakest teams with a 1-2-2 score and additional problems today are a large number of absences. Coach Rafa Benitez can’t count on Doucoure (8/2), Mina (6/0), Davies (5/1), Holgate (4/0 suspended), Calvert-Lewin (3/3), and Gomes (3/0). This will be a one-sided match with a clear victory for the home side.
