Mainz took a well-deserved victory against Borussia Monchengladbach (4:0), which was absolutely fair result. That was their 3rd win in a row, and are -6 points from the European ticket. After two years, they have three consecutive victories, and only Dortmund have collected more points than them in the 2nd part of the season. Hoffenheim is winless in the last 13 matches (0-2-11) and has 6 defeats in a row, and fall into the relegation zone. Their defense is like „Swiss cheese“ conceding 22 goals in the last 8 games. Also, they have some problems with absence and coach Matarazzo can’t count on Promel (14/1), Bruun Larsen (11/1), and Bischof (8/0), while Stiller (14/0) and Bebou (7/2) are doubtful. Mainz is in high spirits and expect to take another win.
