Recap
At the March 26 stadium in Bamoko (Mali), Guinean champion Horoya welcomes Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca. The club can’t receive on its own ground of the General Lansana Conté stadium because CAF didn’t approve it. The guests found top form in the last month winning 5 of the last 6 games, with only 3 defeats in the previous 22 matches (14-5-3) in all competitions. The record of the champion of Guinea against the representatives of the countries of North Africa is more than ever negative. This is not surprising given the lack of organization in the Guinean championship. Morocco Botola League is the best league on the continent. There is a real organization around its clubs. So seeing sub-Saharan clubs, especially Horoya, suffer on this side is not surprising. There is a total mess and no infrastructure in Guinea. In the last four matches against Raja, Horoya remains on a record of one win and three defeats. Before 2 weeks in Casablanca, Raja easily won by 2:0 with total domination and should secure the top with the 4th win in the group.
