Recap

There are huge problems in Hagen at the start of the season. Coach  Stefan Neff can’t count on captain Valentin Schmidt, Valentin Spohn, Niclas Pieczkowski, and Pouya Norouzi. He transferred Arvid Dragunski and Jaap Beemsterboer from the U23 team, while veteran Tobias Mahncke will be joining the squad to replace goalkeeper Mats Grzesinski, who had already been absent. They were clearly defeated by Bietigheim-Metterzimmern (26-32) and Dessauer (26-19) in the opening two rounds. Coburg 2000 opened the season with a narrow 30-29 defeat by Lubeck-Schwartau and celebrated the first victory against Grosswallstadt (29-26). In their 5 mutual matches at Ischelandhalle in Hagen, they had a 100% record of 5 wins and will give their best to continue the good tradition.
