Recap
It seems that Granada is slowly removing the complex in their away appearances and with a huge protagonist coach Paco Lopez, they passed victoriously from the hard away trip to Burgos, winning by 1:3. They are now on -4 points from second place, and want to reduce the gap even more because yesterday Las Palmas took only a point against Malaga. The form is superb with 6 wins and 1 draw in the last 7 matches and today two key defenders Sanchez (26/1) and Miquel (21/0) are back from suspension. Ponferradina couldn’t get a result from in-form Cartagena and lost 0:3 at home, remaining in the danger zone with -6 points from the safe zone. They are winless in the last 8 matches (0-5-3) and the last win was against Villarreal B at home on the 06th of January. Key striker Vallejo (19/2) is out of the squad. Granada is in a superb psychological and competitive state, while when they play at home they don’t joke and don’t allow points to escape.
