In 2013, Jerv secured promotion to the 4th rank of the Norway Leagues and since then they have started a very impressive climb, which ended with being only a few minutes away from Eliteserien in 2017. This season, they are expected to be at the very top and to fight for promotion, and at the beginning of the season, they confirm that without a defeat after 3 rounds with a goal difference of 7:4. This is a stable team that has Arne Sandstø on the bench, who has been the coach for the 6th season. They lost several key players before this year’s season, and they sold Michael Baidoo, which is a great talent. Jerv brought Kristian Novak from Grorud on loan, as well as Erik Sandberg (Lillestrøm), Boubacar Conte (Sarpsborg 08), and has 9 foreign players in the team. The offensive arsenal with Diego Campos, Pablo Sastre, and Furtado looked daunting, and Fredrikstad’s defense will have a difficult task of stopping them. Fredrikstad is back in the OBOS-ligaen, and at the beginning of the season, they are performing well. They have a good team, which plays openly on goal more and I believe it will be the same today, which is an opportunity to see goals on both sides.
