After ten seasons, DVTK was relegated to the second division again in 2021. In last year’s NB II season, they were fighting for an immediate return for a long time, but in the end they only finished in third place behind Vasas and Kecskemét TE. In the 8th round of the Merkantil Bank League, DVTK will play at home against MTK Budapest. After the bad start of the season, DVTK has 4 wins in the last 5 matches, but today coach Sergey Kuznetsov has some problems with absence. Out of the squad are Ádám Viczián (4/0), János Hegedűs (3/0), Márton Radics (3/0), Norbert Könyves (1/0), while midfielder Vladimir Koman (5/1) got an injury in the last match against Gyirmot and he is doubtful. MTK has a number of quality players, especially up front with leagues top scorer Krisztian Nemeth (7/10). They are in superb form with 6-1-0 stats, scoring incredible 30 goals, which is a phenomenal result. I believe that MTK has enough offensive power to continue the good form, and score at least two goals.
