Recap
Fortuna Dusseldorf returned to victories after a 0-5 win over Elversberg on Saturday. They were incredibly disciplined from the first minute and have complete control of the match with good intensity and limited mistakes in the passing game, which was enough to taste the second league victory. Due to injury, midfielder Marcel Sobottka (3/0) is out for the second match in a row. With a 2-0 home win over Braunschweig, Karlsruhe got back on track, after two consecutive league and cup defeats. They took the win easily after the numerical advantage they gained in the 37th minute, and today the only absence is midfielder Tim Rossmann (4/0). Dusseldorf presented an excellent image against previously unbeaten Elversberg, and must take advantage of the momentum and win again in front of their home crowd, where they have three consecutive wins against Karlsruher.
