Recap
The „Canaries“ made a bunch of changes to their lineup. The biggest comes from the appointment of new coach Bruno Baltazar. During the preparation, they have only 2 wins against amateur teams Gigant Saedinenie (8:0) and Ural (2:1) in 5 matches. The club was left by key players Toku (17/1), Brahimi (16/0), Rabei (15/0), and Manu (14/7 top scorer), while the only transfer was that of Krasian Kolev from Septemvri Sofia. A few days ago they parted ways with their biggest star and club legend Todor Nedelev, who signed with the champions Ludogorets. The fans blamed the owner Anton Zingarevich and the director Azrudin Valentich, because they sold their icon, and make riots in front of the club’s headquarters. In the first 3 rounds after the break, they only won against mediocre Beroe, who was the better team.
During the winter transfer period, Cherno More signed some quality players like Atanas Iliev (Ascoli), Arlind Dakaj (Winterthur), and Aleksandar Vasilev (Lokomotiv Plovdiv). They are in superb form and if we count the friendly matches, they are undefeated in the last 12 matches (9-3-0). All in all, Cherno More is a better team at the moment and has 3 wins in a row in their mutual matches in Varna.
