Celtic won last year Premiership and secure a straight place to the Champions League groups stage, after many years of preparation without messing with qualifiers. The last time Celtic went straight into the groups of the top club competition was in the 2008-09 season. They crushed Rangers 4:0 in Saturday’s derby to make it 6 out of 6 in the league (7 out of 7 in the season including the League Cup) leaving 5 points behind their arch rivals. Trophy holder, coming off an impressive season in which they lifted the Champions League for the 14th time, while also winning La Liga. Their performances so far has been impeccable, in terms of results. They won the European Super Cup, beating Eintracht Frankfurt 2:0 in Helsinki, while they have 4/4 wins in the league. In the last one, they won against Betis, ending a five-year negative tradition. The European champion is of course a clear favorite, but at Celtic Park is always hard for any team. Celtic will not change their system, they will play aggressively, and expect an open match, where both teams will score some goals.
