Recap
In the last round of the Regionalliga Bayern, Pipinsried will meet Bayern Munich II at Grünwalder Stadion. Nothing is at stake for either team, where the Bavarians remain third in the table, while Pipinsried has been relegated for weeks and is in complete chaos.
The last few Pipinsried players met last Monday for the final training session. Of course, it was an easy session, and intensive training work doesn’t make sense at the moment. Player-coach Herbert Paul (thigh strain), the two central defenders Fabian Willibald and Simon Rauscheder (torn muscle/fibula), defender Tim Greifenegger (torn lateral ligaments), striker Marvin Jike (fluid in the knee), reserve goalkeeper Junis Amdouni (knee problems), midfield players Ahanna Agbowo and Claudio Milican (both sick) and offensive player Belmin Idrizovic (holiday at home) are not available. Nickoy Ricter, who picked up the red card last Saturday, will also be absent.
The new sports director of Pipinsried, Ati Lushi said – „We currently have twelve players. But we will compete and not hide. And if someone drops out, then we can play the match to the end with ten players if it’s needed“.
Bayern Munich II currently has 91 goals scores, five less than second place, Würzburger Kickers. The two teams have the best-attacking lines in the league, and against Pipinsried who received 97 goals in the league with only 12 players in the team, will be a goal fiesta.
