Recap
The 2023 German Cup winners return to the Audi Dome for the first time after their big win against Oldenburg. After a weekend off and three days of training, they hosted Serbian playoff candidates Crvena Zvezda Belgrade in the 26th EuroLeague round. The Serbs also recently won the national cup and will be accompanied by numerous fans as usual. The Audi Dome will welcome 1,500 Belgrade fans that will bring their typical „fire“ to the game. The focus of attention for the Serbs, who are extremely ambitious this season, is likely to be the long-awaited premiere of Argentinian playmaker Facundo Campazzo, who, together with compatriot Luca Vildoza and Nemanja Nedovic, form probably the best group of guards in the Euroleague.  The Serbs currently sit in 13th place (11-14), two wins ahead of Bayern, who lost their chances to qualify for TOP 8, because they lost the last 4 games in Euroleague. Due to long term injuries Augustine Rubit, Jean-Marc Sisko, and Elias Harris are out of the squad while Serbian duo Lucic and Jaramaz are doubtful. All in all, this should be an interesting match, where I give an advantage to the Serbian giant.
