Recap
Oran launches the new season with enormous problems around the team. One of these problems was the difficulty of benefiting from the services of 8 new players, due to the large debts that burden Oran, especially towards the FIFA, which stands in the way of benefiting from their services despite their registration in the National Professional League. The ban imposed by FIFA and the National Dispute Resolution Committee, means that Qanina, Matrani, Ben Harran, Ben Boulayed, Dahar, goalkeeper Boukrit, Oukasi, and goalkeeper Dallah Karacha can’t be included in the team.
In the face of this situation, the new coach, Khairuddin Madaoui, had no choice but to activate Plan B, which requires to rely on last season’s team, of which only 16 players remained available without a goalkeeper. This means that goalkeepers Lazul and Hammadi from the youth academy will be in the team for the opening round match against ASO Chlef. Due to the lack of time and the lengthy procedures, they played only one friendly match and were not prepared for the start of the season.
ASO Chlef already started the season with two Confederation Cup qualifier matches against Bendel from Nigeria. They were a super strong home team with 9-4-2 stats last season and expect to open the season with a victory.
