Recap
After the 4-1 defeat by Manchester City, Arsenal reacted with 2 consecutive victories. After beating Chelsea at the Emirates (3-1), they got a great win in Newcastle with 0-2 (7/5). They are at -1 points, with 1 match more than Manchester City, so the victory is considered imperative. The only absences are Saliba (27/2), Tomiyasu (21/0), and Elneny (5/0). The postponed home game with Everton turned into an unpredictable nightmare for Brighton, who were dismantled by 1-5. They claim a European ticket, having mathematical possibilities even for the 4th place of the next UCL. They already created a new record for points in the Premier League (55), a new record for wins (16), and the best attack they have ever scoring 63 goals. The Italian coach De Zerbi has some serious problems with absences and can’t count on March (33/7), Webster (26/0), Lamptey (20/1), Lallana (16/2), and Sarmiento (9/0), while Veltman (28/1) is doubtful. Brighton against Everton showed serious vulnerabilities in defense and I think that Arsenal is capable to continue their race for the title and win the three points.
