Recap
The Swedish Cup’s group stage consists of eight groups where the first in each group advances to the quarter-finals. For Varberg’s, the opportunity to advance is still alive and then a win against AIK is required while VästerÃ¥s SK drops points in the meeting at home against Östersunds. Coach Joakim Persson has many problems with absence and in comparison to the matches against Ostersund and Vasteras SK can’t count on Birkfeldt (2/0), Stanisic (1/1), Sainte (1/0), Oliver Alfonsi (1/0), and Sissé (1/0). AIK has to win the match to win the group, but will need a better goal difference if VästerÃ¥s SK won against Östersund. For this reason, AIK has recruited players such as Omar Faraj, the brothers Jimmy and Elias Durmaz and Viktor Fischer with a background in, among other things, Ajax and FC Copenhagen, as well as more than 20 international matches for Denmark. Only absence is Taha Ayari (2/0).
I think that AIK is the better team and should cover this line.
