Recap
AFC Telford had looked at adding a couple of players on loan to boost a squad currently stretched by injuries. This means that the manager Kevin Wilkin will continue to give youth a chance when league leader Mickelover arrived at New Bucks Head. Due to injuries captain Fraser Kerr, Nathan Fox, Webster, Louis Baker, Thompson are out of the team. Mickleover is a league leader and made an impressive start to the season. They have won seven out of seven in the league and have both the division’s best defense (3 goals conceded) and its best attack (23 goals scored – seven more than the next best sides). Also, they have the league’s top scorer Marcus Barnes, who is younger brother of former Derby and West Brom player Giles Barnes. The team is composed by many experienced players like veteran Stuart Beavon spent 11 seasons in the Football League. I think that Mickleover is full of self-confidence and will continue the winning streak.
