After four seasons spent in Ekstraklasa, Arka Gdynia is on the edge. Since January 2020 players, coaches and club staff have not received salaries. Owner of the club Mr.Dominik Midak told the press that he has no finance for clubs obligations and players. In addition, strategic partner, city of Gdynia withdrew from supporting the club which is another big blow. They also have big financial debt from more than 1.5 M euros and in current economic situation and the uncertainty of tomorrow for entrepreneurs, related to the coronavirus pandemic raging in Europe, its hard to imagine that investors will come and save the clubs future.
